Reason I am not into romantic genre be it books or movies. Romantic genre reminds me that it sucks to be single. I have been technically single for as long as I know it, haven’t been attracting the right crowd and find it challenging to attract those I am interested in. That also explains why I am so career centric. Coz it seems that as long as i work towards it, the effort I put in for career will eventually pay off. But romance involves emotion and can be too complicated. Too early to tell just how long my single status would last, but one that holds true is that I have never jump right into any relationship just to not to be single. But one can say it is also because I have always been pretty bad at attracting the guys I find interesting. It sucks that I am tactless, but i am positive. in the mean time, I will keep on working on my career and fingers crossed, I may one day find romantic stories interesting.
